The Michelin and Harley-Davidson® design and engineering teams work closely throughout the development of each new model of MICHELIN Scorcher tyre to ensure that all aspects of performance are optimized for each Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. Beyond tuning the tyre to deliver Harley-Davidson’s precise on-road handling characteristics, designers conduct a battery of rigorous tests to ensure that wet and dry grip performances meet the high standards set by Michelin, without sacrificing longevity. Only then can the tyre display the trademarks of both of these iconic brands

THE BEGINNING

In 1897 Michelin introduced its first motorcycle tyre, the “Triomphe” model. In 1903, Harley-Davidson® was founded.

TEAMWORK

Michelin and Harley-Davidson® have worked together since 2008 to co-develop MICHELIN Scorcher tyres, which benefit from decades of MICHELIN tyre expertise and innovation.

QUALITY

Before a MICHELIN Scorcher tyre can be homologated for an H-D® motorcycle, it undergoes rigorous testing to ensure Harley-Davidson’s performance and handling requirements are fully met.

PROVEN

More than 1,000,000 MICHELIN Scorcher tyres have rolled out of the factory on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles.
